Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Gobeya (the "Platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account, browsing our catalogue, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. This page is a starting draft for our launch and has not been reviewed by counsel - it should not be treated as a substitute for a properly drafted legal agreement.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, including your name, email address and phone number, and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

2. Orders and payment

All orders must be paid in full at checkout before they are confirmed. Payments are processed by Paystack; we do not store your full card number, expiry date, or CVV. An order is only treated as placed once Paystack confirms successful payment. Prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and may change without notice, though the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

3. Shipping

We currently offer free shipping nationwide on every order. We do not issue individual courier tracking numbers; delivery progress is communicated through order status emails (confirmed, shipped, delivered) and an estimated delivery date shown on your order. 4. Cancellations, returns and refunds

If an order needs to be cancelled, returned or refunded, contact Support. Where a refund is approved, it is issued back to your original payment method and you'll receive an email confirming it. See our Return & Refund policy for the full policy.

Giftscan be cancelled by the sender only before the recipient claims them; once a gift has been claimed, it can no longer be cancelled by either party. Gifts are non-returnable once claimed and delivered - if there's a problem with a gift you received, contact Support directly.

5. Prohibited use

• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempting to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other users' accounts.
• Providing false information at checkout, including delivery address or contact details.
• Reselling products purchased on Gobeya in bad faith.

6. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gobeya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform, beyond the value of the relevant order.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the business grows. Continued use of the Platform after a change is posted means you accept the updated Terms.
